Alexander Eswar, MD is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, and is fellowship trained in Minimally Invasive Surgery specifically focusing on gynecologic diseases. Dr. Eswar completed his fellowship at The Center for Minimally Invasive and Robotic Surgery at the University of Buffalo in 2015.
Dr. Eswar received his bachelor’s degree in Psychology/Pre-Medical Studies from Boston College. He then furthered his education to receive his medical degree from American University of the Caribbean, School of Medicine in St. Maarten, Netherlands Antilles. Dr. Eswar completed residency in Gynecology and Obstetrics at SUNY at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences.
Dr. Eswar is passionate about his patients and seeks to provide the most advanced surgical techniques including, laparoscopy and the DaVinci Surgical System.
He is a member of several professional societies, including the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons, American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and American Medical Association.
During his free time, Dr. Eswar enjoys the outdoors and spending time with his wife, five children and two dachshunds.
